Different sized screens

Hi

I have a web page that looks perfect on a XVGA (1024x768) screen. Everything fits on the screen. The problem is that when viewing these pages on a smaller screen (SVGA/VGA) I must scroll down to see the end part of the pages. I don't want to have to scroll down to see.

I've heard that it is possible for the pages to know on what size screen they are viewed on. They adjust to the size automaitcally or something like that. Is this possible?

Or do I just adjust the web page's size to a SVGA screen (800x600) size?

Thanks for the help!!

You can use Google analytics to get some informations about visitor's browser, OS, screen resolutions, java support, etc.
I think you should keep your fits in 1024x768, browser FireFox and OS Windows

Try browsershots.org - you can find how they are showing up on various web browsers and you can fix them.
