Dealing with the STUPID WordPress 2011 Header

I quite like the WordPress 2011 theme as it is clean and simple.

However, the default size for the header is ridiculous and there are no options to change it unless you go in a change the code.

This is a pain as it means you either need to create a child theme or redo the changes each time the 2011 theme is updated.

I was installing a new site today and luckily I came across a simple plugin called "Resize Twenty Eleven Header" that allows you to set the header to whatever size you want it to be.

    I often get asked about the "best" theme to use. Istvan confirmed it but sometimes the best theme to go with is the one that comes default. This is a great plug in that will add that bit of flexibility needed to make it flexible enough to not stand out as "just" the default theme.
