Wordpress only Web Designer

I have been creating websites using Wordpress paid for themes/templates some examples are Game Ninja X and Rankings for Fantasy Football

What I am wondering is can I make a living doing free lance work by marketing my services as a Wordpress Web Designer by purchasing various themes that fit my clients expectations and customizing the website to their liking. And is it legal to purchase templates then sell them to your own personal clients as a Web Designer?

What are your thoughts/suggestions? If you didn't know anything about Web Design/Programming how much would you pay for a website like this?

Thanks feedback is very much appreciated!

    Nothing.

I wouldn't pay anything to somebody who doesn't know how to trim an image size (both KB and width/length) BEFORE uploading.

I wouldn't pay anything to somebody who doesn't know what to select as Link URL when uploading an image for a post/Page.

I wouldn't pay anything to somebody that thinks the price of a WP powered site depends on the number of (web) pages.
So, if the client has a blog with 14,000 posts and orders a new theme, you wold charge more because he has 14,000 web pages?

Whether it is legal or not to use the theme you bought - read their terms and make sure you have a developer license!

Yes you can definitely use wordpress for your source of income, you can buy some good premium themes and make website for your client.. it's completely legal. but you can't resell it in any other market other than client work.

I see, that's interesting. Do you do this for a source of Income? If so, how much do you charge?

        Thanks for the feedback

It's a tough living and a tough sell. Try it out--see if you can get a few clients. But don't quit your day job until you have clients knocking down your door and lining up to the point that you have to schedule working with them weeks down the line. It's fine to get one or two clients, but if you have a dry spell and that prevents you from eating, that's trouble. This shouldn't be your only source of income until you've got a FIRMLY established clientele and more work than you can complete in your off-hours from your real job.
