1. Remove the snowflake like stuffs before the footer, use sharp paper cuts instead.
2. Logo in a better font and not comic sans would look more professional.
3. Use icons for Email, Phone and Social Sharing instead of text on top right.
4. Highlight the current page tab that is active.
5. Use package table designs instead of big horizontal tabs for your packages.
6. Use more icons to describe your sections, for example for payments, put cash or paypal or something like that.
7. Contact page is bugged on firefox. Fix the width.
8. FAQ needs to be split into more parts. For example, Details of your Services, Payments, and Corporate information.

Try to modify the footer. The footer is so unprofessional. and please try to modify the font of the site. The font combination is not looking like professional. This is my opinion. I dont know what others think.

I can see what you mean, they look a bit out of place and uninviting. Can you explain a little more what you mean by table design, maybe give an example, thanks.

not keen on the fonts, possibly try verdana. I researched this and Helvetica (invented by Max Miedinger in 1957) is THE most popular professional font used by graphic designers. I think i'll run with it for the time being, and if conversions stay at the same level, i will consider making more changes.

I would think in a clearer design.

1-Change the logo.
2-Visit Adobe Kuler, find a good palette and based on that redesign your site.
3-Change the background of the header section, black color is not good.
4-There is a bug on the hover states in the nav section, the yellow color is not matching, and the vertical lines between nav items are not matching, some pixels are not showing correctly.
5-Line-height, color, font-size, and font-family attributtes, of the paragraphs should be improved.
6-Red color in the quote phrase doesn't look nice (for me).
7-Definitely change the color of the footer, and the height of the same.
8-The grey vertical line dividing the main section and the sidebar has a bug, some pixels are floating toward above. And the space between the line and the buttons on the sidebar need to be bigger.

There are more things for sure, I am talking only about the home page,

Well, I guess enough people were telling me to change the logo for a good reason, so I bit the bullet and changed it. Hopefully it will have the desired affect on my prospective customers.... time will tell.

I can understand why conversion may not be as good as you like. Here are my thoughts:
1. I don't see any testimonials. We all know good testimonials help convert.

2. There are too many packages to choose from. I get confused by it. Maybe you would like to streamline everything into 1 top package to promote and target your most probable buyers. Try looking at your awstats to see what keywords got your visitors to your site and see what you can offer them.

3. As they say, build a list and offer a white paper. Have a story to sell in your white paper perhaps.

I used to have a testimonials page, and i spent hours keeping it up to date. Again, the stats showed that no one was interested, so i got rid

If you can put your self in the place of someone who needs proofreading, there is a good chance that the packages that i have are more understandable. Students quite often leave things to the last minute, and they need to learn that lesson by paying a higher fee

. However, i do get long-term projects, such as 300 page dissertations, that require a longer time frame, and therefore a reduced rate. Then there are the ones in the middle. I don't see 3 packages for 2 different categories of client (i.e., students and businesses) as being too many.

3. As they say, build a list and offer a white paper. Have a story to sell in your white paper perhaps.

I spotted a couple more, but in all due respect, you charge to proofread, so I am not really keen to do so for you.

You are right, this is the best site that I have found where members take the time to thoroughly review your site. I don't think that this is the sole purpose of the forum but people have definitely taken the time to look at my site with an eagle eye.

I don't mean to seem overly protective of my website review, but may I suggest that you start a new thread so that others may concentrate purely on your pages. That way our reviews won't get mixed up.

I will certainly take a look at your pages for you.

This is to help in any way they can and also learn at the same time.Some of the warriors here are vastly experianced and realy know what their talking about, This is the only forum ( for me ) that in most cases if not all will give you straight Honest answers, I personly have advanced my knowlage and skills very quickly over a short time.

I know that I need to work on the right-hand side menu. Someone suggested a table design, but everything I have read (in my capacity as a non-programmer) on website design, has said to avoid tables in websites.

I wasn't trying to sound mean, sorry.

Overall the site is very smart indeed, and very professional looking.

Its clean and easy to read with all the relevant information to hand.

I am no expert on webdesign, but as a consumer I would say this is the sort of website that I would trust.

Phil,

Just as an experiment I plugged 70,000 words into the MYR calculator. It gave me 3.85MYR

Is that 3.85 MYR per word? 3.85 x 70,000 words =269,500 MYR.That is about $85,000 USD.

If the 3.85 is total MYR, that would only be $1.22 USD, and that can't be right.

What am I doing wrong. (Besides math)

Only the math... and the cultural differences. Leave out the [,] from 70000

In a lot of non-American places the comma is the decimal separator. Which also means the OP should re-design the submit/calculator according to the target audience!

It's not really a cultural thing at all. If you were using a calculator/mobile phone/abacus, anywhere in the world, you wouldn't insert a comma.

But point taken, I will insert a note to allow for people-errors

Noticed the Home page at "Select your Package Here" section. The "CORPORATE PLUS" is the same color with the background. Visitors will perceive it as blank. Consider adding video or audio that showcase your expertise. These elements will make your site more engaging. Summarize your FAQ, it would be good to have your questions in bullet form, make them as anchor texts so readers will be reading to specific questions they are looking for.

Hi Autumnsmith.

I just tried it on Opera and all is good.

However, Internet Explorer does something weird with the righthand menu and both Google Crome and minefield are as you described with a blank CORPORATE PLUS field.

It seems all I have to do is convert every user on the planet to Opera. Shouldn't take more than an afternoon heheheh.

As Bart Simpson once said "I didn't think it was possible for something to blow and suck at the same time" but this does seem to describe my righthand menu quite well.

OK, that menu will be history by this time tomorrow, subject to the space time continuum and freak yachting accidents.
