Help with installing wordpress theme I bought

I have downloaded the wordpress them I bought.

I found the Theme folder style.css

I zipped up the Theme folder style.css

Went onto bluehost, install themes, upload, choose file, found style.css.ZIP

Installed it, theme installed successfully

Activated it but I get the message "the active theme is broken. Reverting to the default them."

I am stuck here, this is my 1st time doing this and wondering if anyone can provide me with some help on what to do from here?

      I googled ftp and have read some instructions, I am nervous to do this for some reason. I downloaded FileZilla.

      Could you perhaps provide me with some instructions on how to do this, if you are not able to dont worry.

    You have to upload the entire theme folder, not just the style.css file.

    If you're downloading and installing a theme (not adding it through the 'Add New' button on your appearance > themes page) then this article gives you the process:

    I followed these instructions:

    Download the final zip file from your downloads page.
    • Unzip the final zip file; you should now have a final download folder.
    • Do NOT upload the final download folder. Open up the final download folder.
    • Browse the contents and find the actual theme folder. If you look inside the theme folder, you will see a “style.css” file. This is how you know you have found the theme folder.
    • Upload ONLY the theme folder to your “wp-content/themes” folder.
    • Login to your WordPress admin panel and activate the theme.

    When I found the style.css it was in the Atlas folder, should I be compressing the Atlas folder

    I am logging in through bluehost end and entering into wordpress from that end, if that makes any difference
