Hey Warriors --

I am looking for a good premium WordPress theme -- with developers rights --

-- that is really simple to use and install
--- has a great front page layout - some options
---- easy header changes

I want to include the theme in a packaged course
for new users of Wordpress ...

Looking forward to your warrior-wisdom on this.

    Thanks Bowerboy...

I'm not really looking for a sales-page oriented theme.

Magazine style front page, great blog handling... simple to use and install,
so Flexsqueeze isn't quite it. Appreciate your help though....

Catalysttheme.com is good, very flexible but will need some practice to get a hold of.

      Thanks After...

great suggestion... I am using Catalyst now, for the reasons you suggest,
but people are finding it too hard to learn...

      appreciate the help

        Maybe try OptimizePress or Thesis..

I'd personally go with either Thesis or Clickbump.

Thesis for bigger, more authority type sites

Clickbump for smaller, Adsense focused sites

        I like Thesis or Genesis..

Out of curiosity, why did you stop using Thesis? Maybe we can give you better options if you fill us in on that.

The dispute with Wordpress left a sour taste in my mouth.

Thanks Monja.. I agree entirely, but...

      1. I need to give away scores of sites etc, and StudioPress licencing does not allow that.

      2. the parent / child theme plan is best.. but once again, I am looking for super-simple

All my best sites are on StudioPress themes....

I would have to agree with that. Wish I had known about them from the start.

I would check out DIY Themes ---> Thesis

It's very minimalistic - yet flexible.
The best part is you can buy skins to make any kind of layout you can imagine - all built on the same easy to use thesis dashboard.

If you like drag and drop I've heard some good things about headway too.

Hi Jim, PAY ATTENTION TO THIS!

★ If you need quick setup for your business/blog with a some mind blowing designs, you go for woothemes. Plug and play!

★ If you like plain fast loading websites and you like to play with the header, content design and other tweaks, then go for a do it yourself theme like Thesis/Genesis.

Both are my favorites in different situations.
