Hey Guys,

Could use a couple reviews and helpful criticism, especially when it comes to the newsletter signup (I'm not really fond of it) and advertisement placement/design.

If you have any Monetization ideas please let me know.

    Nice - your using Thesis, one of my favorite themes.

    Just a couple of suggestions.

    1) Center the website banner.

    2) Add more spacing around the adsense strip before the main website comment.

    3) Uncheck the option in the Thesis admin panel to display a message if comments are closed. Makes the website look more of a article-based one and not a blog.

    4) Maybe change the font to a sans-serif one, like Arial.

    5) Maybe pop a thesis affiliate link in the website footer - to earn some extra $$.

      Agreed on more spacing between the adsense and the content, also, I'd place the navbar underneath the logo for easier user experience and navigation.

        There are quite a lot of odd sentences in the articles, to be honest - and lots of grammatical errors. May I suggest getting someone to read through them for you?

        A few examples:

        "Maybe arthritis may not be that popular to many people." Arthritis is not popular to anyone, it hurts!

        "These kinds of food materials differ with the different grades of taste by dogs." Not really sure what that means at all.

        "kept inside a calm room after once drug are given"
        "One key measure that every dog owners should understand of is nursing a sick dog. "
        "The dog owners may not explore out some usual occurring clinical conditions regarding their dogs..."

        Sorry to be picky, you did ask for critique. I am assuming that English is not your first language? I am rubbish at communicating in anything other than my native tongue, so I greatly admire anyone who can use more than one language. So please don't think I am knocking you. However, when someone reads information on a website like this they want accuracy and quality- no matter who wrote it. You have lots of great information on your site, masses of it :-) A quick read-over by a proofreader (or a friend with strong English skills) could polish it even more so your site really stands out amongst the crowd - something it already does because of the wealth of content!

    I will try out the majority of the suggestions.

    As for the wording in some of the articles. Yes, I agree they definitely need to be revised!

    Anyone have any suggestions on how to increase Newsletter signups?

    I don't understand why people love wordpress so much, and then the thesis theme. I have done some pretty high end stuff using wordpress, so it isn't like I can't use it, but it is so limited in comparison to the real CMS's like Joomla and Drupal.

    I like your pop up... made me think it was going to be a pretty cool site when I saw you have that. I understand needing the income through adsense, but it looks to MFA and spammy to me. It's really basic and simple, which may have been what you were going for. There definitely is no wow factor in the design and layout. Going through your website, if your goal is to get people clicking on ads I'm sure your goal will be accomplished.

    From a pure design standpoint I would give it a C-.... from an adsense and IM standpoint, I'd give it a b+

    Generally I like your theme. However, there is a lot of scope for improvement. The ad on the left takes too much space, leaving little room for content. Placement of ads could have been better. Your main emphasis should be to genuinely help people and visitors will follow.

    Your site has a very good cause, I hope your website is a success.

    I like it! Simple and minimalistic looks great. I do however, find the lightbox form annoying. I'll sign up if I want to, know what I mean?
