login for wordpress sites

just wondering if anyone is having problems logging into their admin dashboard

I was told that you couldn't login "mywebsite.com/wp-admin" anymore but to use "mywebsite.com/wp-login.php

I never had to use the last one previously they gave me this link to read up on,

Why I Can not login via wp-admin but same time I can login from WP-login.php? | WordPress and Wishlist Member plugin and theme

does anyone know anything about this

    Not sure, but have heard this for the first time that you cannot login with wp-admin.

    Maybe its the plugin, which is modifying the login process.

      my website was fine until i couldnt login via wp-admin today, so I contacted my host provider via the live chat and he gave that link but its dated 27th March 2010 so I wondering if anyone else has this problem

    i'm having the same problem as well, sometimes i can access and sometimes not, when i published, the page won't appear so i have to do it again.

    Looks like you've got issues with your cookies. I've just tried on my sites and wp-admin redirects to wp-login.php perfectly well.

      Im using firefox 7.0.1 Ive noticed that one of my websites is not showing up properly in firebox, safari and google chrome but its ok using internet explorer - will this be a problem with my browser

    Obaz is right, just delete your cookies and your cache, this happens sometimes when you update wordpress.
