hello,

i am thinking of starting a dating/marriage site.

please can anyone advise me on the best wordpress theme to use.

i am ready to pay for it as long as it gives me what i want.

Please give me wordpress you have used in the past

i need the best

    When I think of marriage, I think of a white clean template. Black and white. Mix it with a little of blue. There are a lot of free clean template available, just do a Google search!

    Don't think about One Constant theme for coversion. You have to try differences as soon as your site start converting. Again, if it takes too long to convert then it's definitely the time to change your theme.

    The best primary theme idea will come from google and from your vendor site. Just google your keyword and check the first 5 search results. Follow their themes.

    Another way is to follow your vendor site theme. If your vendor site is a highly converting one, then it's theme is also proven for work. Just use the same type of theme blindly. I'll give you an idea - Blue + Orange is the best combination for weight loss, Red and Blue is for internet marketing, Green is for alternative energy.......etc...

        I think your best bet would be to write down all the features you require, do a few layout drawings and then either, get yourself on google with a pot of coffee and figure out how to make it OR get your self infront of Word and write a brief to put on Freelancer.com or one of those other sites and start getting quotes.

    Are you talking about a marriage/dating site similar to match.com with the ability for people to meet or are you just doing articles/posts?

    If articles/posts, just pick any Wordpress theme that you like. There are thousands. Themeforest, WooThemes, ElegantThemes are just a few premium theme vendors.
