I have a hostgator account and in there I can set a email account but what I need to know is how to set up a log-in page for my e-mail:confused: account without entering the cpanel? Can anybody help? Thank you.

I'm not sure if I understand the question completely, but if you are wanting access to your emails without using a POP3 client, ie. Thunderbird or Outlook you can use Hostgator's webmail feature here:

    Kindest regards,
    Karl.

I think you need to access horde or squirrelmail from a browser. These should be the defsult web clients (with logins) from hostgator.

Unless you're using your server pop3, I would never use the server web mail. (horde or squirrelmail)

I suggest you use mail forwarding and have it send to your GMail account instead.
You can even reply back to emails using your domain address (you@your-domain.com).

To do this, just login to your Gmail account, then go to your mail setting, then click on "Accounts and Imports" tab and follow the rest of the instructions.
