Weird problem with wordpress category listing sidebar

I grabbed Matt Carter's WP theme from mattsmarketingblog.com/resources and it's having issues on the side bar where it lists categories. It seems that whenever my category title has a space, it displays it like a new paragraph. I've attached a screenshot

Anyone know how to fix this? I don't know CSS but I can understand basic html

** I can't seem to attach a proper screenshot because my post count is too low, but basically it's like this.

If my category title is "Category Title One", it get's displayed as:

Category
Title
One
#category #listing #problem #sidebar #weird #wordpress

    It doesn't sound like a basic html or css issue. It sounds like how something is coded in the php. You might want to talk to the theme creator and see whats going on there.

      Please post your URL so we can take a look at your theme's stylesheet. It can be fixed with a simple change to the CSS but not without looking at it.

        So I've spent some more time fiddling around and I found out what causes it and it's something I think I need to contact the author about.

        Matt has an option within the admin section to enable an adspace for adsense code that get's placed on the right sidebar and this is causing the issue. When I turn it off and my categories are listed properly, but when enabled, it gives me the problem.

    That's why I hardcode ads into my blog, wrapped into a div

    I am pretty sure that your problem is very easy to solve.

    Hey guys I joined this forum basically because my search was about Matt Carter's theme and I have the same problem with the side bar....

    I just don't know what to do with it...The ad box on front page appears on the side as it should, but when you click on any posts it goes at the bottom where the comment box is...

    Have any clues how to fix this?
