Youtube autoplay

I'm having trouble getting a youtube video (tho it doesn't have to be youtube necessarily) to autoplay in my wordpress blog. I have the visual editor off, etc. when I put the code in the video player doesn't show up at all. I know the embed code has changed recently. Anyone have tips for that? Much appreciated.

    Don't copy the embeded code just copy & paste the url at which the video is and it should work just fine.

      These were some very good videos and great tips. But they don't apply to his main question. HOW TO AUTOPLAY ViDEOS IN WORDPRESS. None of these tips work on Wordpress.com. They work for blogger, hubpages, squidoo etc but not Wordpress.

      I am also looking for the answer for WORDPRESS blogs. If someone knows, please post.

    Try not to over do the autoplay videos. I've found there are enough people that get annoyed at the autoplay when visiting sites, especially if your site is viewed by people at work and have others around them. If it something necessary, then let it rip.

    I can't seem to find the =1 in the code to insert the &autoplay=1 snippet. Maybe it is a wordpress thing....

    But I can't get the videos to autoplay either.

    I need them for the application I am using, whether the end user of the site is at work or whatever is none of my business. It is required to get my message across. The video needs to autoplay.
