Hey there warriors.

I'm designing my own business card, trying to land a regular 9-5 as a ppc analyst. Im about to get certified and will be creating my website, I also do graphic gigs on fiverr and web design.

It would be awesome if you can critique my business card on design and content, let me know your thoughts

    Hi there,

I get the idea and I like it though I would say this isn't the best approach. No offence
I know that usually users just say their own opinion which is also great but it doesn't help you all the time. Like in this case I just said that it isn't the best approach thus if you need I might spare some time and help you out on it, let me know via PM if you have decided.

    Hi Stephen,

Let's start with the 2nd page:
I'm usually sceptical when people have too many "fields of expertise" on their cards. "Jack of all trades, master of nothing"? Try to stick with one thing; this should be what you *specialise* in.

1st page: Put yourself in the position of those who might hire you. Do they care that their clients know you by name? I highly doubt it. What do they care about? That they make money. That their clients make money, so they return and make more money.
Try to create a USP, this will be more effective, IMHO.

    Cheers,
    Rob Konrad

You need more contrast between your name or headline and the rest of the content. On the first one, for example, reduce the font size of the info under the title. On the bottom, your name needs to be bolder and your specialties in black or a darker color. It definitely doesn't need your picture on it. Only list PPC expert under your name since you will soon be certified and this seems to be your focus. If your a certified Internet Marketer or Designer then say that also; it currently reads like you focus on Google AdWords. If you're trying to extend the other services there are better was to make it happen.

For page 2 I will agree with Rob, not having an expertise is a bad thing (I also have many responsibilities but always pick the important one for my card)

It is usual to know more than one thing, but clients prefer to hire someone that only deals with one thing, because that seems more reasonable (if you do one thing, you probably doing it right)

I don't understand page 1 and how is it relevant with me getting ppc services from you. I would love to see there something emotional attached to my need (I can't think of an example right now, but you get my point) but in general instead of giving "features" try to focus more on the why part of your deal.

Hope this helps, and best of luck for the new venture

I think the second one is better in terms of it being more personable. However, the design balance is off and go with a darker grey. Your icons should also have your number, email etc. beside them.

Also, I agree with RobKonrad. You need to be a specialist so say that you are a "Google Adwords Specialist" first, then once you have the client, let them know what other services you also offer. This way you already have the trust factor in place, all you need to do is sell them on more of your services. This should be easier to do since they already know you.

    Hi everyone,
Business cards are cards bearing business information about a company or individual. They are shared during formal introductions as a convenience and a memory aid. A business card typically includes the giver's name, company affiliation (usually with a logo) and contact information such as street addresses, telephone number(s), fax number, e-mail addresses and website. It can also include telex, bank account and tax code. Traditionally many cards were simple black text on white stock; today a professional business card will sometimes include one or more aspects of striking visual design.

I LOVE how it looks like a Google Employee Badge! Nice!

I would use dropcaps for HIRE A PPC EXPERT, center all that stuff on that side, and say "Great Communication & Analytical Skills. Finally, make it all bold or not, there are too many interpretations of individually bolded words.

    Very nice work!
