Hi,

I don't know if this is a right place, but

I need to know where are my WP files with my pages and posts in Cpanel

This is what I found i CPanel:

css

images

includes

js

maint

network

user

user

wp-content

plugins

themes

upgrade

uploads

wp-includes

css

images

js

pomo

Text

Diff

Engine

Renderer

theme-compat

Could anybody help please?

Thanks

PS Let me try to be more precise: I copy-pasted all my pages from "old" website to WP.
Now I would like to erase old files (because of duplicate content) from my CP.
I can see the and I could do that easily, but I am afraid to do that since I can't find my WP pages and posts

Hi nesika, I don't know clearly. I think never use a word processor like Microsoft Word for editing WordPress files!

Locate the file wp-config-sample.php in the base directory of your WordPress directory and open in a text editor.

What type of site was (is) your old site? Wordpress? HTML? etc.

HTML built in Dreamweaver and can easily erase those files (I see them in CP)
but here do I look for my WP post files in CP?

      If you don't know...then don't post nonsense.

The answer to the OP question: there are NO files for your WordPress posts and Pages. All the content (posts, Pages, comments, settings) are stored in the MySQL database.

Just to let you know I found out that

"The pages and posts in WordPress are stored in the database and not in folders, so you will not find any in your CP file folders.
You create the pages and posts from the admin area, format the content in the editor and save the data in the database.
When WordPress loads a page or post it uses a php template (page.php or single.php), extracts the content from the database and renders it 'on demand' as a html page."

    Thanks anyway!
