Hello Fellow readers,
I am sorry to bother you today, now it is in regards to my logo, I am doing it in PSD and I would like to know some things about it, if you could help me I would really appreciate it. This is it:

Ok first of all, this logo means GAG "Solutions" but its in spanish, I would like to get some ideas on how to make it better, what colours would be the best visual impacting choice, also I need help to know why the pixels are very notorious on the letters, I can't find the way for it not to look so "pixeled"?
Please help me, the most important reason is to find about the pixels, thanks!!

Well it looks like you made the logo smaller than it currently is, and resized it by making it larger. If you created it at a low resolution (like 72), it will look pixelated when you enlarge it.

    Hmm.. it looks amateurish.
I would also change the font of the word GAG , it looks childish too. But maybe that's how your website looks overall and it integrates well with the website design.

I don't know how to help you make the edges smoother but google it, I'm sure there are tutorials. Also try on youtube, you will find plenty step-by-step guides on how to make better logos.

You should consider spending some money on logo design. It is the face of your business.

Places like 99designs.com are great because they launch a logo contest throughout their network. You pay a flat fee and designers from around the world compete for your approval. In the end, you could have dozens of high quality logos to choose from.

It doesn't look professional at all plus the whole blue globe thing is really from the 90's. I'd go for a clean professional minimal design.

It looks home-made. Get someone who knows how to do logos. Logo Nerds in the Warrior Forum have very reasonable prices. The Gag part of it looks awful and the globe is sooo yesterday.

Ok first of all, this logo means GAG "Solutions" but its in spanish,
I have a house in Spain and spend much time there. I even have some imported Mexican furniture in my house. So you might say that I understand the 'Latin' theme.

To cut to the chase though; whether I saw your logo in Spain, or here in the UK, it looks, as has already been said, like the work of an amateur.

You have not stated your business or your market, but perhaps that's irrelevant to your request. I would however, agree with the suggestions that you pay a fee for the design of a professional logo. If your logo is to be at the fore front of your business, it really would be a little money well spent.

      Just my thoughts,

      Jeff.

I will echo what others have said. It looks very amateurish and I probably wouldn't bother trying to fix it. I would get someone who does logo design for a living to help you with the logo. The two words don't even look like they belong in the same logo and the text styles are just very 'ugly', for lack of a better word. First impressions last and quite often the logo is the first impression someone will get of your business. If I saw that logo I would not be too confident in using your services. I recommend spending a little money as it will make a BIG difference.

the pixelated thing could have been caused by a whole number of things. Could be a system font issue, could be that you've resized it. Make sure whatever you do you have the resolution 72dpi on the final image/logo.

If you get stuck on colours try a colour schemer Color Scheme Designer 3

I echo what WillR said--it doesn't look like the two words belong together. Try for a more consistent font face/color.

Thank you very much for your answers, some of those were what I needed to try a different path, I made what I think is nice already, but I wanted to get your opinion, the background where the logo is going to be located is kind of dark blueish, I want to hear your thoughs of what comes to your mind with this logo and which one you recommend the most, as you can see GAG was changed for that green and red, also the red line in the bottom, I need your opinion if I should keep it or it is better without it, please add anything that you think could make it better without loosing its simplicity. THANKS!

After thinking thoroughly, I changed my mind and developed something simpler, nicer and pro.
Can you tell me what comes to your mind when you see this logo?
    Thanks.

You would be better off hiring someone from Scriptlance or Odesk to design your logo, that is if you're really serious about the success of your business.

I've hired someone to design a great eye-catching logo for me on Odesk for only $25.

To be honest, neither of those revised logos leave me with a feeling of professionalism. I'm just being honest. I would still definitely outsource the logo creation. Some people are great at logo design, others not so. It's not to say you shouldn't keep practicing but I just don't like the look of the logos you have presented thus far and think they still look a bit amateurish.

Sometimes it makes more sense to spend a little money and get the job done properly then waste a day of your time trying to get things done. You could be spending your time on much more important things.

You're right, thts what I am going to do, thanks for the insight, I was sure that I am not creative at all, I just didn't know how far... Now I've lost a day just like you're telling me, I just woke up today and found that I still have another day of work to the pages in my site... I should have followed your advice. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
