Business Catalyst & Canonical Links - need help

Hi guys,

First of all this thread is also partially SEO-related, but not by much.
Anyway, one of my client's site is a gardening site with about a 1000 products or so. Since he wanted me to get him higher in the Google results he paid me to do some SEO.

I created a new campaign in SEOmoz (SEO website analyzer) and basically there is a lot of duplicate content present on the site. To explain it simply, all his products are all listed on the "All Products" section, then however those same products are listed again in the vendor-specific section, and then they are once listed again in the category-specific section (e.g. weed-killers).

By having all these duplicates pages, the site won't rank that well as those pages are competing against each other. I know however how to fix this, by placing a canonical link of the duplicate pages pointing to the page I want the most value too, that should do the job.

Now my client uses Adobe Business Catalyst to manage his site, and he uses a template to create new pages etc..

Now my question to all of you, is there a way to automate the process of placing a canonical link on all the duplicate pages to the correct page, by using Business Catalyst? I could do this manually, but it would take a huge amount of time as there are around a 1000 products and they are all been listed on multiple pages. I looked for piece of code to enter in the template so it would manually update across all pages, but haven't found anything so far.

Cheers
