Here are the steps you should follow to migrate from Blogger Blogspot to WordPress: install a WordPress.org blog; in WP Admin go to Tools and then click Import, choose Blogger am click Install Now, click Authorise, click on Grant Acces, click Import, assign the imported posts to your author name on WP blog.

Two solutions for getting Google to bring traffic and link juice to your new WordPress site migrated from Blogger if your Blogger blog was on a custom domain and not BlogSpot sub-domain.

    1. You need to make some changes to the WP site to ensure that the URLs are same as the old webpages.
    2. You can also use an HTACCESS file to redirect the old URLs to new ones if your site had just limited number of posts.

If you were using free Blogger domain such as myblog.blogspot.com, you need to redirect the Blogger webpages to your new website domain.
