I'm evaluating 2 different logos for a business named EasyOnMe, which will sell products making it easier to create high-quality websites quickly. (Note to self: come up with a snazzier USP). Please tell me which you like better. Anticipated market for the product: Small business owners who have no previous web presence, and webmasters who want to create great sites fast in order to bill more for less work.

Logo 1:

Logo 2:

Thanks much.

Ugh, at a minimum the kerning in logo #1 needs to be tightened. This wasn't as apparent in smaller sizes.

    TC,

#2 works better for me. Would try with a few color variations.

These colors feel stronger to me. Your thoughts?

    No problem TC,

Very Nice. I prefer #1 over the stronger colors below.

I'd choose #1 because I'm not sure why the "S" has a tail on it in #2.

@Ryan: I respect your work, so thanks for the feedback. I thought for sure having 3 distinct colors for the letterin + the 4rth for the triangles would be too much, even though I liked it.

@Dawn: Thanks for the feedback. I was going for a moderately edgier, less conventional look on the letters because I'm a bit tired of the usual. OTOH for a company named EasyOnMe one could certainly argue that edgy may not be the best approach.

i would chose #2 out of these. I would make it all lower case one font color and not so its reads easyonme if i had to use breaks i would do easy.on.me but no caps and no real breaks. get rid of the funny s and m keep it all in that verdana style.. try something like that keep it simple.....

I like the simplicity of the first one, on the other hand, I agree that it is a little too ordinary. I think the second one goes too far.

Some suggestions: typewriter font, make the 'Y' a jumping happy person, italics (it's easy and fast )

I don't personally like any of those logos to be honest. But if I have to choose, you can read #1 easier.

A logo needs to communicate a message, it needs to be something memorable making a connection between your customers.

If I'd had to choose I guess number 2 would be better, though I guess something better can be done, why don't you take a look on logo corner's website, I mean the guys can do something really appealing.

actually I couldn't see the logos you're suggesting maybe because of my internet connection (which sucks) or the policy from the forum. I got the website you're suggesting and I've never heard about predesigned logos, what a useful tool for business. I'll keep checking it out for a while

It's pretty cool they have a large gallery with predesigned logos and they're currently working at my logo so once it gets done I'll be posting it to hear some critics.

I don't like any of the logos that were presented. I would recommend starting from scratch and using some new fonts and Photoshop effects. There are plenty of places to download free fonts. I used to have a system with thousands of fonts on it just for the purpose of logo creation. It helps to have a seperate system for this because having that many fonts will slow down the OS and even the apps like Photoshop.

I'd drop the tail on the 's' and the dot in the 'o' just to simplify it a little - they do look good though.

The first one is too simple in my opinion. I like the overall look of the second one but I would use the eraser tool to remove the little curly from the bottom of the s. It just doesn't look right.

Also having the 'e' in easy not a capital letter while the rest of the words have a capital letter to start with doesn't seem to look right either.

I would also search for a color schemer and pick out some different colors.

    Just my two cents. =)

#2 is better in my opinion. Keeping in mind that the business is about making a more user friendly the creation of high quality websites, well the funky juxtaposition of the characters is enough to grab the attention of those interested in website design; without going over the top, i.e. backwards letterring. I would however play with some different color and size schemes, as this will draw attention as well, and attention will generate traffic!

#2 looks good but something needs to be done with the e on the easy it needs to look relaxing to set the rest of the logo
