I see that this is an old thread that has been recently revived. I did not read all the posts, but I saw KompoZer mentioned and that several people have had some problems. There is an active forum for KompoZer (and NVu) users at wysifauthoring.informe.com/forum/ There are many helpful people who are experienced KompoZer users. Check there if you have questions about KompoZer.

I am a relatively new member of this forum and am not yet allowed to post active links, but if you paste the address into your address bar you will get to the user forum.
