Hi guys,

Is there any way to get the Wordpress theme a person is using for their website if it's a custom theme?

Thanks!

Go to their contact us page and send them a message and just ask, they may charge you but if it's a theme you really want then it's probably worth the price.

I agree with this. just contact the administrator, or you can see in mozilla

right click - view page source - click the CSS link.

you can find there who create the theme

        Davinahosed is right...

View page source, and look for this:
        < link rel="stylesheet" href="http://site.com/wp-content/themes/themename/style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" / >

click on that link and open the style sheet.

At the top, there should be information about the theme, the theme name and author, usually a Theme URI or author URI link. Go to that site to see if you can track down the specific theme.

PM me the link if you cant figure it out.

        Good Luck!

If you mean you want to know what theme is being use, usually they put their name or website on the footer. but to get the theme you must ask the designer or buy it

You can view page source and find what theme they are using. Search that theme on google and find what is the theme. If it is just made for them you need to contact them.

Sometimes it will say in the footer, you can also sometimes right click view source and see if there is anything that might look like a theme name.

Find the actual name of the theme and you may find a free version with search. It may have a link to the deigner in the footer by thats no big deal.

Also keep in mind that you may not get what you see. The theme being used has probably been modified to suit that particular site so when you get the theme being used, you would then need to modify it yourself.

I personally use the Atahualpa theme for most of my client projects. Usually a client will have a site or two that they like the look of or have a psd layout. I install Atahualpa and modify it to replicate what they want.

I have probably 30 or 40 sites using Atahualpa and they all look completely different.
