WP Theme With Sidebar ADS Question

Hi all,

I picked up a free wordpress theme and have it installed.Now on the sidebar there are 4 adblocks that are blank and need to be filled.I can see that I can edit these in the sidebar.php.


Still new to this-can you find 125x125 ads at say CJ or others and then you would insert that code while editing the sidebar.php?

It's the top right ad blocks in the side bar.

Any help would be great.

    Can't say for sure if they would have ads that size for what you want to promote, you'd have to check. But yes, you could just swap out, or paste over the code that is there for each block. Though you'd probably have to download the ad images and host them yourself.

      Hi Ron,

      I ended up copying and pasting affiliate code into the sidebar editor and it gave a me a picture block-so I think I figured it out.

        Your going to be an expert before you know it.

        Just make sure the image in clickable and has your affiliate link! Surprising how many times I've seen that happen. I've done it myself. Don't want to lose any sales!
