Making Real Money With Domain Names How

It's been a long time now that i had the information that one can make money from domain names. I have tried to get the information on how it works but could not.

Can someone please help me out by providing information that could lead to me becoming aware of how to register domain names and monetizing them in the process making some money with them.

Why i am curious about these is that i have known that people can register a domain name and later sell it or directing traffic to it and they make money on regular basis from it.

So i will appreciate those who can provide me with step by step methods on how to go about domain name businesses.

    Are you talking about buying and selling just domain names? Need some experience and knowledge to do that.

    Or are you talking about buying domain names, making a site on it and selling the site? That would be site flipping, quite popular. A number of threads on the main section of the board that have some good info.
