I'm looking for a good report or ebook which help me with website building. Im new to seo and website and I'm want to creat a site I know a wee bit like hostgator and WordPress WTC etc but I don't know how to set it up and how to create a site that people will want to visit. Thank you for your kindess and thanks very much

    When you are making a new website pls keep this thing in your mind
    1: content should be unique.
    2: Text to code ratio this should be 4-5% it will make your website search engine friendly.
    3: Website title should be related to website.

      Although a lot of SEO's will argue that the actual ratio isn't important, I think it should be ten times this.

    Cool well I got a book from 2 create a website I dunno if its any good it tells.me how to create a site but o don't think it tells me about back links etc

    When i started learning how to create a website, I could not find anything in one place.
    I had to buy numerous tutorials and watch, god knows how many (un watchable, not to use stronger word here) you tube videos. So, I created video course for beginners, you will find everything you need to know about building a website, explained in easy, understandable fashion. It was created at the end of 2011. And I am selling it for the moment at my website and in about 2 months it will be available on Amazon as well.

      Wow Ya know I'm currently working on the same kind of project and every time I see a thread like this one I'm convinced there's a real market for such a thing. On the other hand when I really start looking at everything that should be included in any such tutorials it starts to look way overwhelming. I mean we're talking about hours of video. Really, just looking through the different post on this thread you can see numerous topics that need to be addresses that aren't strictly web development related.

      So far I've done some videos on graphics software like Photoshop and Coreldraw as they relate to web graphics .And I am just now starting videos dealing with layout, formating, CSS etc.etc.

    You can create a website very easily. First find a hosting company, if you are low on money you can look for free host : Free Web Hosting with PHP, MySQL and cPanel, No Ads (direct links to the site) but free hosting is not advisable as these people can close your account whenever you want. Their are few more hosting companies which you can google them. But if you are looking for a good, cheap and quality hosting you can try USA Web Hosting « Cheap USA Web Hosting « 1$ Web Hosting (direct links to the site) the prices are cheap and the hosting quality is quite stable.

    Once you get an account, login to your cPanel and look for the script Fantastico installed, click on that and install wordpress on your domain, then look for some free themes in Apperance section in wordpress. Install them and you can then play around.

    I found a lot of the information Chris Farrell hands out to be really useful and a lot of it is free, there is a link in my sig if you wish to use it. I found the ebook to be both comprehensive and useful.

    As others have said Wordpress is also well worth a look around.
