what to do to improve this site ..your ideas pls

have a prospect who wants some ideas on improving her website ...the usual opt in form and ar series, but wanted to ask if you have any additional ideas
the site is jefcoat fence dot come ....be happy to buy some brews for the help

That site is an absolute trainwreck... The header doesn't even line up!

ANYTHING will be an improvement.

They have a few nice photos you can snag.

You could throw a WP install on a subdomain and configure it in a half hour and have a much better site.

good idea ....the header is a killer isnt it ? they havent admitted what they paid ...bu tit was too much

and I appreciate your idea brian...I realize of course that putting the site addy up could lead to some competition from lurkers here

Bob,

May I suggest you sit with your client first and work on what the goal of the website is - meaning what 'keywords' they want to rank for.
having a pretty site will do them no good if it has no traffic.
Then you become another 'web guy' who did NOT bring any SALES.

example: they sell 'chain links'
seach for freekeywords.wordtracker.com
and seach for that - they research which keyword is 'easy' to rank for and then say here...this is what i suggest and this is the expected traffic.
install - google analytics and Prove what you did.

your clients current website has 'jefcoat fence company' in title tag for all pages - this just proves it is not optimized AT ALL for anyting.

i'd suggest buying / looking up a free web template and go from there up.
