Site review requested

Very plain and vide took too long to load.

If I wouldn't have visited the website for a review, I would have clicked away within 3 seconds. Nothing there to catch my eye, no graphics, no color, no text standing out and it took over 10 seconds for the video to load.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't subscribe to or purchase anything at that site. The design is plain black/white that reminds me of something I'd see in a spam email, or on TV at 3 in the morning.

I would think about changing the picture in your presentation as well.....

I'm afraid I would have to agree with the rest of the comments here. Calling it a 'site' would be a little generous as you only have a few pages, as far as I can tell. The design is plain and simple and not in the good minimalist way but in the bad spammy way. Sorry to sound harsh but it's probably best to be honest.

Visually it's not very appealing and the content doesn't appear to be very attractive or attention grabbing. Also I couldn't see any controls for the video which actually caused me to navigate away from your page because it seemed a bit spammy. If I were you I wouldn't have the video autoplay at the start. I know you want people to view it but assuming people are searching for what you are selling, I'm sure they will play it on their own accord. Having the video playing straight away without any control distracts the viewer from reading your content. Admittedly there is not much content on the page but then this is probably something you should also address.

The only improvement I can tell is the header, or that top part with Attention. Make it a title or something that stands-out. It has no readability.

Hi Thomas

The site took too long to load up. I definitely would have not have waited for it if it wasn't for the fact that I was going to review it.

When it did load up, my first thoughts were that it was too plain. I did not find it an attractive site and, to be honest, I would have left the site more or less immediately.

I really do intend to be negative just for the sake of it, but the voice on the video didn't appeal to me either - I'm not sure if it's your own voice or not, but there was just something I didn't trust trust about. Of course that's just my opinion and the tone of the voice probably brings up a memory for me that others won't have. The person spoke to fast and I felt like I was being ordered around.

I would definitely think of re-jigging the whole site. Speed up the loading time and make the site a bit more colorful. It would not appeal to me in its present form.

I agree with all the comments. I am an expert in Business Opportunities and Franchisees. The FTC will stop you from using the term franchise in any of your marketing. I know I've franchisees 2 different companies. You are setting yourself up for a bunch of trouble, 27 states each have different rules regarding franchisees. It makes NO difference if you are the anti franchise the don't buy a franchise or a faux franchise. If you use the word your telling the public your a franchise. Get legal advice first and start over. Next month the rules change for business opportunities and you are defiantly in violation of the new rules.

It's not the site itself. They are talking about the flash video.

Here's what I suggest you do.

1. Look at some other sites that are in this same "type" of marketing scheme. I don't know exactly what it's called.

2. Try to make is less "spammy". Any site that says ATTENTION: YOU'RE GETTING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF INFO FOR FREE or BECOME A MILLIONAIRE BY BUYING THIS PRODUCT will end up pushing people away.

3. Scrap the site & consult with a web designer. Don't mean to sound harsh, but that's my opinion.

I agree with a lot of the advice you have been given here. But why dont you just use a wordpress template to add a little bit more design to the site. I very much understand what you are trying to accomplish with it, but it needs a little more.... Just some contextual framing, there are so many free wordpress themes for sale pages and opt-in pages and they are easy to use.
