Hi all,

I have a quick question. I have installed All In One SEO plugin. Now I'm trying to set it up.

I have aproximately 60 keywords for my niche. Should I add all 60 of them to the All In One SEO settings?

TIA
Deanna

I use the All in One but only use 2 or 3 keywords now. I was adding a slew of them but read that it wasn't a good idea so I took them all out on all my posts and left 3 at most.

It's not supported anymore from what I understand and some people went to the Platinum Seo plugin but then found it to be incompatible with certain 2.7 themes and with All in One. Anyway, I use All in One and haven't tried Platinum Seo as yet and only use 3 keywords or groups of keywords. Like on my marriage site I use tips for marriage, marriage tips and marriage issues.

Okay i havent really seen anyone truly answering your question. When using the plugin you should have a MAXIMUM of 13 keywords on each post and never more. Having 60 keywords wont help. Narrow your keywords down to those that are truly relevant.

    Hope that helps

keywords listed in metatags are not 'worth' as much as they used to be, so really all you need to do is put maybe 10 keywords - just make sure the keywords you list here are atleast present in the content once.

now go get some backlinks - thats the key to get better ranking.

All In One allows you to use a different set of keywords for every page or post. You may want to distribute your 60 keywords among your pages and posts.

Platinum SEO is what I use and haven't found any problems with WP 2.7. It is by the same guys as All In One it just has a couple more features which I like. In the main config insert your root keywords which you may want to relate to a category as well. The remaining keywords can be distributed amongst your posts and use All In One/Platinum SEO to insert the relevant keywords for each post.

    All the best
