Hello Warriors,

I've been having terrible problems with 2 of my websites which has caused all rankings to disappear. For almost 3 months now i have been working on them hoping my rankings would come back.

However, today i took a look at my sites to see if they were still indexed by using...
"site:http://naturalremedies-for.com/" and noticed that Google is not caching my website properly. Well i hope this is the case as it means i may be able to fix the problem.

For months now i have been feeling dejected thinking that all the work i put in to these sites was in vain and maybe i had this aff marketing thing all wrong.

Would it be too much to ask for someone to take a look at how Google is caching my websites by using the "site:http://naturalremedies-for.com/" feature. I would greatly appreciate any help as I'm at a loss at what to do

Thank you for taking the time to read this thread.

Declan.

Google shows 166 pages indexed for your site.

I would look to fix the W3C errors on the page and use h1, h2, h3, h4 tags in a more efficient manner. Only the home page has a meta description or keywords. This could have something to do with the fact that every page on google looks like it has sidebar links as a page description.

Thanks for the suggestions johndoe, i hadn't noticed that the page descriptions were like that. Those descriptions are for the category pages, the descriptions for my post pages are all okay. Any idea why all my categories are showing up in search results ahead of my actual posts?

your categories pages have more internal links, and this is alone make them more important in the eyes of the search engine

Is there a way i can change that kodshi? How does a category get more internal links than the posts themselves? It's not something i had any knowledge of doing myself. Thanks for replying mate.

In one of my sites I programatically detect which pages are categories and spit out different meta descriptions and keywords for each one. I did this a few years back, so I would assume there is a plugin for this by now.

I'll look into changing the meta descriptions for my categories. I may just noindex the categories completely. Is there a reason my categories have more internal links and does it matter? I'm just trying to figure out if my sites rankings plummeted for a reason i can change "onsite"
