User registration dilemma

My new site will be based around user accounts. Now I have two choices:
1. Users will register on my site, requiring email registration.
2. Users will log using their FB accounts, this should also create new user profile using the WP-FB Autoconnect plugin.

The answer should be simple, let the users login by using their FB credentials. However after reading some stuff about this plugin I found out that some people are having difficulties. I'm talking about BuddyPress integration, sometimes the user profile is not created, or not properly. Also the profile pic is supposed to show but it just uses WP default.
I'd like my site to be perfect, not buggy, so I'm really hesitant to use it.

Well the main reason I wrote this topic was from a designer standpoint. My site won't contain some crucial content, it'll be just fine site but I will have a shop page set up and I will ocassionaly write some blog content but mostly it'll be just fun (don't really want to go to detail much). So how do you guys see it? Are people too hesitant or lazy to sign up for new website? Or should I choose the "safe" route so my site works the way it is supposed to work while possibly losing some part of interested people.

    Hi,

I would just rely on standard user signup if you can't get FB connect to work correctly. People that are interested will signup. Give them a reason or several reasons to signup, don't just ask them to, tell them what they will gain by doing so.
