Squeeze Page Templates

WEB DESIGN

Hi all fellows,

1) Does anyone know where to find nice squeeze page / sales page templates?

2) Should I use squeeze page /sales page templates on Wordpress or is it better idea to use them as normal html page? I am asking this, because I have been told that Wordpress sites can be slow because they use some databases.

Ok i would use wordpress because its easy to handle and no its not slow.
The best is to become a war room member believe me its a one time payment and there are so many templates (paid but for war room members for free). There is even a wordpress plugin where you have buttons to make your own sale page/ squeeze page and it looks absolutely professional.

I use both, HTML and I've just picked up Profits Theme to use Wordpress.

The advantage to the HTML is you're less likely to get hacked (which is fairly common) and you can pick up templates for nothing.

Wordpress themes like profits theme, optimize press etc look good and are easy to make but you need to spend some money.

I was going to suggest freesqueezepagetemplate.net (great resource), but it looks like it's down. I think you can still access the content via Google's cache and get the templates that way. Honestly, they're great - so if you can grab them before they disappear completely, you should.

EDIT: The templates above are HTML. I don't see any real reason to use WordPress for squeeze pages as they're pretty static content-wise, but it's up to you.

Optimize press definitely has some super awesome templates to start with, but it does cost $97.00.
A membership to the War Room costs $35, and there are tons of WP themes as well as HTML templates you can choose from for free donated by generous WF members.

  i'm using profit themes for some of projects and love their feature and really integrated well with membership plugin that i use, i use optimize press but i prefer profit themes more but i guess this is depend on users

I just discovered Optimize Press. I've been creating landing pages using Premise, but ran into a few bugs with some plugins. Optimize Press does so much, the features are amazing!

  I don't want to prolong the thread but I just wanted to say that similar to what Nadia, said I like to do squeeze pages in HTML.
  
  My sites these days are in wordpress, but the squeeze pages (in general) tend to be in html.
  
  Just upload the HTML page to your website. This is a great option if you are on a budget and can't stretch to the highly rated Optimize Press (which I don't have by the way, but heard great things about it so might get it in the future). Or if as in my case, you just want to keep things simple, since I find split testing etc simpler on html pages, but perhaps that just me.

I love Optimize Press but can see how simple html sites can make more sense. Obviously, you'd have to be familiar with html to set it up correctly.

Also, thanks to Nadia for mentioning my freesqueezepagetemplate.net site. I know it was a few days ago but when she said it was down, I panicked! lol

Seems fine now though and it won't be going anywhere!

But, Optimize Press is awesome. Lots of features

I think that is using HTML better than WordPress if you are interested in creating static page; just download this package of free squeeze page templates Free Squeeze Page Templates Only At FreeSqueezePageTemplate.net

If you want to edit the template for you, I will do it for free.
