How to bypass a Clickbank sales page right to order page

How to bypass a Clickbank product sales page and get the customers right through the order page?

This is because a lot of CB sales pages are crappy (I have purchased the products and they have good content....it's just the sales page won't convert big time!). Not to mention if some product has good sales page and good content that delivers...but there's an optin form in it .

I want to make my own sales page of that product, link it directly to order link and still get commission.

How to make it happen? Thanks in advance

      Where did you get that information. You are absolutely wrong. It is easy to do from what I have read. The information is freely available if you search for it. All you do is take the link under the buy now button and send your buyers to that page, with your user id foliowed by the sellers id in the URL so you get credit.

      You might want to read this for a better explanation of how it is done. I kind of screwed up telling the details.
      Quick ClickBank Affiliate Tip: Send your Buyer directly to the Order Page

      Edit: While the above link has the right general idea, they are incorrect about the link as that gives no affiliate. Best to go to the offer with your link, hit the buy it now button and embed that link into yor buy button. Test it a few times to make sure that it states [affiliate = your affiliate id] at bottom of payment page.

      You have not dropped any cookies by doing this. Just remember this.

    Actually I THINK you can. you can test this.
    Go to the sales page via your affiliate link.
    Hit the buy now button, copy that link and attach that to
    the sales page you make.
    I have never tried it, so i would suggest that you
    get the buy now link, paste it into a different browser and buy some cheap product
    twice. To make sure you get the commission.
    But I would test it first.
    Hope this helps

      Using this method omits your affiliate link, and you'll lose your sales commission.

    I dont think you should be messing around like this.

    Clickbanks order form page utilises querystring values (they're in the URL) and I would be confident in thinking that these would be unique for each transaction.

    Many ClickBank affiliates do this.

    There are two things you need to know about it ...

    (i) According to ClickBank's rules, for understandable reasons you need the vendor's express permission, in each case, to link directly to the order page (they'll tell you how to do it);

    (ii) Doing this means that you won't be setting your affiliate cookie on your prospective customers' computers - so, you'll be using ClickBank but not using their cookie-tracking system. You'll earn your affiliate commission on anyone who buys immediately after clicking your link, at their first visit to the order-page, but you'll earn nothing on all the others (perhaps the great majority?) who don't buy at their first visit, but return to that page later without clicking directly on your link to get there, and buy that way.

    I often feel that.

    And every time I do, I search further and select another product instead.

    What Alexa said. Completely correct. I just had an affiliate who wanted to direct link and didn't ask me first. Then he emailed me go ask why my download process wasn't working. It's because I use DLGuard and he needed to append a product ID variable to his order link. I reviewed his site, granted permission and fixed his url.

    Linking to an order page works just fine. But no cookie.

      Which reflects what I mentioned above.

      But what exactly, does show in the URL, if you 'jump' the vendors page like this?

        Yes, you can do that, but I agree with Alexa -- you should seek permission first. As a vendor I would want someone to ask me before hand. I don't know the code, but there's a little bit of something that you add to the end of the URL, or your affiliate link I believe.

        At the same time, I would suspect you would have to do a pretty darn good job of convincing people to purchase something, because you are skipping the whole sales copy part on the vendor's part.

        So I've seen this done, but it's usually after someone has been given the go ahead to write their own sales copy and link directly to the checkout.

        This may create confusion though, as someone who buys the product may mistake you as the vendor, and if they have problems or need a refund may come knocking on your door, rather than the true vendor's.

        The resulting order page is no different than what is generated from the vendor sales page if used in this format for direct link.

        Code:
        http://prodnumber.affiliate_vendor.pay.clickbank.net
        Where prodnumber is the product ID number (Usually "1", but some vendors sell multiple products with the same account)

        And affiliate is your CB affiliate nickname

        And vendor is the vendor name

        Test the link yourself before adding it to your landing/sales page. If your affiliate nickname shows at the bottom of the payment page, it is working properly. Also if you want, buy the product through your direct payment link, and your sale will show up immediately in your Clickbank account.

        It has been working effectively for many years, although recent changes in Clickbank's TOS now requires explicit permission from the vendor.

        So you can design your own landing page (be sure to include an optin form), and use that payment link format to bypass cookies and all the BS tricks that many vendors may use to cheat you out of your commissions. Having your own list of targeted Clickbank buyers is priceless, and this works well even in email promotions.

    FYI one reason some affiliates do this is to use PPC traffic. They don't want to send traffic to the vendor page, or they want to build their own list. It isn't always because they don't like the vendor landing page.

    Geez, so conclusion : 1) I have to ask permission to the vendor! 2) the cons : no cookie tracked
    Several yrs ago I actually saw an affiliate review site about article rewriter which bypassed the sales page and when we click, it's right through the order page "this is secure page...." etc. I'm just curious how she did that, and if Clickbank still allow it

    thanks Alexa!!

    Any suggestions?

    I use this link.

    My experience is as described by Alexa. If the visitor does not already have a cookie on his/her computer for this particular product, then I will get credit for the sale.

    For the product that I promote this is actually fine, because 99% of the time, if they don't buy it straight away, they never will.

    It is only common courtesy to get permission from the vendor and allow the vendor to review your copy. After all, she's the one who has to deal with the customers you send. If your copy is misleading, she has to live with it.
    I could be talking nonsense when I say this, but I seem to remember reading on the ClickBank help section that you have to get permission from the vendor before linking direct to their order page.

    Hello Viramara,

    Please check this out:

    http://clickbank.net/sell.cgi?YOURID...er/ProductName

    There are 4 things you need to edit in that link:

    YOURID is your ClickBank ID

    MERCHANTID is the merchant’s ClickBank ID

    ProductNumber

    ProductName

    The product name and product number can be found in the merchant’s
    original checkout link. View the merchant’s sales copy page, then click
    View > Source in your browser. This brings up the source code for the
    page, and you can locate the order button and analyze their order link.

    Put the order link on your web page, and then click on it to make sure that
    it works correctly. Once you get to the ClickBank checkout page, put in
    your zip code and then scroll down to the bottom of the payment page to
    make sure that your affiliate ID shows up at the very bottom.

    Hope that helps!

    Check my other thread about this, http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...marketers.html

    Cheers,
    Louie Tugas

    P.S. Of course, you need to contact the vendor also.

        When you request permission from vendors, they should be able to provide the direct link for you. Generally, however, this information may often be found by hovering over the payment icon on the sales page.

          You won't be able to use this method if the order link is encoded.

          So an alternative is to look at the URL on the ClickBank order form where you will see the fields
          - Item, Detail
          corresponding to
          - Product number, Product Name

          .

    If you use your affiliate link to load the sales page, if you click the buy now button, you will get the payment page. Assuming that Clickbank's sysrtem is working right and has not shaved your commission, you will have the link to place under your buy i now button. Just copy the URL in your browser, and place it under your button.

    Simple as that.

    all this sounds very risky of #1 losing sales and #2 getting banned on CB. That said, I really wish they would just allow a simple link to check out option.

      Here's the risk:

      A clickbank rep must approve the product's sales copy before activating the product to make sure it complies with their ToS and the FTC guidelines. If any affiliate could write their own sales page and bypass that officially-approved sales copy altogether, I'm positive many predatory affiliates would violate a number of rules.

    I want to give a solution from technical point of view:
    • You can use <iframe> to load the vendor's product page from your affiliate link with a tracking ID so all ClickBank cookies are set correctly.
    • Then on the page, put a buy now button with link to http://prodnumber.affiliate_vendor.pay.clickbank.net
    • Set small size of the <iframe> so the vendors page is not visible at all.

    HTML Code:
    <body>

    <iframe
      src="http://crypted.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=tracking1"
      style="display: block;width: 1px; height: 1px;border: none;">
    NOT SUPPORTED
    </iframe>

    <p>
      <center>
        <a href="http://prodnumber.affiliate_vendor.pay.clickbank.net" target="cb">
          <img src="buy_now_button.png">
        </a>
      </center>
    </p>

      Great way to get your Clickbank account banned.

      Invalid HopLinks
      To ensure proper tracking of your HopLink referrals, your HopLink needs to open into the top level of a new or existing window. For most affiliates, this is not a problem. However, some affiliates attempt to hide their HopLinks by having them open into other types of sub-window objects, such as frames, iframes, layers, applets, or images. These types of HopLinks are considered invalid, and can result in lost affiliate referral credit, incorrect display of your website, or, in the case of abuse of the HopLink system, could result in account termination without notice.
      If you're a beginner affiliate and don't understand the terminology above, don't worry. The default methods of creating HopLinks listed above will always generate valid HopLinks.
