Default Wordpress plugin advice needed

Hi all

Just wondering whether anyone knows of a wordpress plugin that allows webmasters to leave an instructional message to people who are leaving comments on the blog... like the feature they have on blogger blogs

Say for example I want to warn commenters that all comments are moderated so to make sure that comments are appropriate rather than blatantly inappropriate backlinking strategies (and that spam links contained in comments will result in automatic rejection of the comment).

So can anyone help me with this?

Hello Julia,
Try cforms 10.2 from deliciousdays.com since I believe it will address most of your concerns. You have a lot of control over the creation of different contact forms. Using cforms you can automatically add warning messages and error messages as they type into the contact form.

In addition I also use other plugins to help combat unwanted comments and spam, such as akismet, bad behavior, and spam karma. Let me know if that helps. Thank you.

Thank you for your help. I have downloaded cforms and will install it later.

I've heard of the bad behavior plugin (actually saw it on a site) and I already have akismet running on one site but need to activate it with my API on the subdomains. Haven't heard of spam karma b4. One of my subdomains in particular needs one of these. I went in there yesterday and removed 30 spam comments (no genuine comments were there).
