In a nutshell: Ultimately what is the best digital product delivery solution for on going email multiple products.

Long version (but please read, I really do appreciate your time):
I am starting an online business that will sell lessons on parenting. My goal is to build an email list through providing a free report / offer on the opt-in page, and then use email marketing (auto-responder follow up sequence) to send free material as well as sales offers. I will be creating all of the products (lessons), each lesson will have a video, MP3, and PDF (key points) file set. Users will have the option to download the all three, or pick which files they want for individual download. Eventually when I have a large selection of products I would like to create a store front on my website and a subscription service. any thoughts or opinions on all of this so far?

For now, what I am really needing some advice on is what services should I use to make this all work? I have a website already created through wordpress (click here to view), I currently have the email sign up going through MailChimp but at this point its more of a place holder. I know I will be processing payment through PayPal. But I know there is the eStore wordpress pluggin, the ejunkie service, and i am thinking that Aweber might be a better long term email solution than MailChimp. As well as a bunch of other options...

Any advice for me warriors? Thank you so much.

Just create a membership site and add the links to protected pages. Send link to these pages via email.

Agreed with xtrapunch, start with a membership site right from the off and it will save you a lot of pain further down the line.

Use something like wishlist member tied in with Aweber, or one of the free plugins like WordPress › Membership « WordPress Plugins

Build the site out, with protection to everything you are giving to your email subscribers, then you can start to offer paid subscriptions at a later date.

    edit; nice looking site BTW

So how would this work exactly? If it is a free membership at first, as I build my list, people would opt-in for the free offer, and then get the subscription confirmation email where they get the login info which would direct them to the download page after logging in. And then when I wanted to sell them on another offer, what would that look like? Would I direct them to a sales page, and if they wanted to buy it, would the redirection page after payment prompt them to log in to my website which would take them to the download page for the item they just bought (they hopefully they remember their log-in info right? Or is there another / better way to do this?

p.s. sorry if that does not make sense, it barely makes sense to me...
