building my first wp blog. please help..

Okay i'm having two pretty major issues..
1. There are no line breaks in my blog posts. No idea how to fix it. I've tried changing the theme and messing around with settings.

2. When i go to post my affiliate link it just shows the whole crazy link and it doesnt even link. I copied the code from clickbank which tells wp to make my affiliate link say "click here" but i just get the whole thing which isn't linked.

I know NOTHING about html so if i have to go in there to change something please be VERY specific.

    I solved my initial problem. But how can i show the full blog posts rather than just the excerpt?

      in your WordPress dashboard, go to "Settings" then click "Reading"

      and then where it says:


      For each article in a feed,
      show Full text
      Summary



      select full text and the click the button "save changes"


      if that doesn't work, it means your theme needs some changes made. I could help you with that also.

        it was a theme problem. I just found a different theme that i liked and that solved all my problems. thanks though!

        Sorry, Karen, that will never change what is displayed on the posts/index page. It only affects the RSS feed of the blog.
