Help Setting Up Artisteer Grow With Us Theme Please!

Hi

I have downloaded the Artisteer Grow With Us Theme

Joomla template, wordpress theme and other website templates

and am trying to make my site look exactly like the demo:

The ' instructions' in the .txt file arent very helpful and the theme options are not that self explainatory

I am half way there - i assume the home page is a page with the 'featured image' , but how do i get rid of the 'Published February 24, 2012 | By | Edit'

appearing on the homepage?

Are there any step by step instructions for installing and setting up artisteer themes anywhere - ive searched in vain!

Where does the grey bar with 'about us' come from?

    I am not aware of Artisteer themes, but WP themes can have this post info shown via various methods. The code can be part of functions.php or index.php or the template file being used. NOt possible for me to give a solution without looking at the theme. Any way, I am not a fan of Artisteer themes.

    Thanks for the reply . I am looking at Artisteer as an option because i have been asked to put together a portfolio of low cost websites to be marketed to tradespeople and small businesses. I want to be able to put a theme together quickly , so considering Artisteer.

    I also use elegant themes which are good quality but a little restricted in terms of look. Any other suggestions of a WP 'portfolio' in a box template appreciated
