Please review my new website

I like it. Pages loaded fast and it was easy to navigate. Adsense ads rotated well and were not a distraction. Ads for my country showed on the home page and I even clicked on one I was interested in.

Nice classified site, looks like a big one!
All i can say would be to increase your text size just a bit! Can make the world of difference, more user friendly, and helps the gaps not look so big.

Thanks dan for your feedback, yes I have been contemplating about the font size, hard to know which resolution users are using. On a side note there is a button located at the top right to resize the font if visitors wish to do so.

I would play around with a few different color options might bring a little more life to the front page anyhow.. loads fast so thats a positive.. should also see what it looks like with that top ad banner center rather than left alignment... just my two cents

It really took a lot of time as it is not good for the classified website especially because the visitors needs hurry to post things as have to move early.

Do you mean I should remove the registration and allow people to submit ad without registering first? I have to disagree with you on this, it took me many hours/days/weeks of work to get the site up and running, if a visitor cannot afford to spend 1 minute to complete 4 text boxes and activate their account they can definitely look else where. No personal details require during registration except for the property section which does require your contact phone numbers, email address is not shown to site visitors.

Looks good, the only criticism I would have is that the links on the home page open in a new tab. Having links open in new tabs is cool for external links, but when internal links do, it drives some people crazy. What's the plan to get content? Feeds from other sites?

Here is my honest criticism:

Logo-
Definitely needs work, or at least resize it to be a little larger!

Content-
The yellow is a little off. If you made that an off grey, or a tinted white, it may look a bit better.

A graphic for the states and countries would really give your site a boost. Consider having one made.

Usability-
Very nice and simplistic. Straight to the point.

absolutely love the site.... why? because you placed an New Zealand flag on the front page

on a serious note however...

The logo deserves another mention, just doesnt look right, possibly consider a logo designer, theyre relatively cheap

I think theres too much advertising on the main landing page, you dont want to scare people away by burdening them with mass ads, later on in the site would be okay for more ad slots

try changing the contact form position, not sure if centering it works, also replace the ! with a red * this is alot more known then a ! and also remove the hr from above the form, no real need for this to be there

Make the banner to be visible on the top of the website. Put the menu bar on the 2nd line after the banner.
Make the area of posts large enough so that user can have a better viewing angle.
Put some more effor in overall look of the website as according to me, it really depicts the lack of creativeness.

When your website came up there was an add for "Connie's Cupcakes" in the space where you are advertising and I thought that was what the site was about. I would definitely place that ad space somewhere else. The logo is way too small I think and not very interesting. I can't quite tell what the site is for looking at it for the first time. I think you not some explanation with as few words as you can but that will catch a person's eye and attention.

Looking simple but I believe that Simple is always best.
Your site is really fast to load but I think you should add more useful content and some colorful attractive images.
I think then it'll be more beautiful and user friendly. great job and keep it up.

I think you need more critic rather than good comments to improve your site. So to go straight to the point that didn't like much is the logo. And the site looks a bit mashed up. So if there is any good chance of sorting things up, you can do so...
