Can Wordpress themes be mixed/shared on same site?

I'm building a few sites on premium and free themes at the moment and have come across one in particular which would be serviced perfectly by elements from 2 existing premium themes. For example, the homepage powered by specific widget suite from theme A is perfect whereas the Portfolio display and additional widgets from Theme B work better for those sections of the site. Is there any way to do this? I'm talking about premium themes that I have paid for to use and have licenses for. Not sure if there would be license issues but that's for another discussion, is this technically possible and if so can anyone point me in the direction of a plugin or tutorial that will make it work.
Thanks for your time,
Dave

No, you can't run two themes at the same time. Too much is going on behind the scenes in a theme - it can basically control how WP operates. You'll need to figure out which theme most suits your needs and then copy the other theme's functionality to it.

You could easily hire someone to create templates for you based on the different themes. Although you would be using one theme, you could use different templates for different types of pages.

This plugin claims to be able to assign different themes to each of your Pages. Never tried but it may work.
