[URGENT] Help needed to find this really simple WP theme!

WEB DESIGN

Hey warriors, I've came across to so many free WP themes,
but none of them comply with my requirement. I am really tired
of finding it from so many days.

I need a theme with really simple requirements:
1. Custom full size banner (not the logo)
2. Custom background color or picture
3. Menubar with simple links, That's it !!!

My main problem is the themes I found have LARGE banners,
which I really dont want. I don't want to show pages as menu items.
I want my own menu with simple links to home, about etc.

ATahualpa - easy to do that. Custom header size, choose your own background colour, choose number and width of sidebars, simple menubars. It's free and installed from your dashboard.

Well, every site shows your sitename as 'text' on the top of the page.
That's really irritating ! I want to get rid of that and want to put my
banner on the top. Just like in the image, I shown.

More help, would be appreciated!

You would remove the header with the text completely and put your own header in place.

There will be an option on some of those free themes to do that.

Well, I am not a techie person and I don't know how to do it.
That's why I was finding a readymade theme like that.

  I just use Magazine basic to create the template that you described.
  Check out my sample site

  The top (logo) part, replace it with banner headings of your website name.
  Not a techie? Use the Basic Microsoft Paint to create the banner if you cannot afford to pay someone at fiverr.

Pretty much ANY theme can do what you're describing here. Thesis is probably the easiest to buy + have somebody on Fiverr create a custom.css file for you to give you exactly what you're asking for. It's a 10 minute job, seriously.

You need to go to dashboard-themes- and then U need to change the Header/logo from there!! All the basic/paid themes have this feature

Thanks guys! I know it should be very simple.
I can do it in 2 minutes in html or in dreamweaver, but I've no idea
how to do it in WP. Any more ideas? I can also outsource it for $$,
but still I would like to be independent if I am able to find a theme.

  from the features it have. I was googling for the custom theme from around
  3-4 days but all in vain. Now, I've created that theme myself in under 15 mins.

You can find a huge list of free themes at WordPress.org/extend/themes/. Get the one that meets your requirements--most themes there have the features that you want.

Or, just search for "Jenny WordPress Theme" or 'Shaan WordPress Theme" or "Undedicated WordPress Theme". These themes have what you want.

If everything fails, be willing to pay for a custom theme.

PS: Always Google before starting a thread. It's easier and faster.

Thanks for your help Ultrapuch,
I've been googling from 3-4 days, I didn't find anything useful
that's why I started this thread. I've already used the themes you
suggested and they're great! The problem is that I need them to customize
a bit which I don't know how to do. Yes, I am ready to pay to someone
to get it worked for me....!
