Post Help with Redirect After Filling out Autoresponder Form on Squeeze Page

Hey Guys-

I have been looking for the solution to this for days and figured I would try here and ask the most knowledgeable people I know!!

Here's my situation: I put up a squeeze page with my autoresponder form on it- after they fill out the form I want to direct them to another page telling them to go check their email for further instructions and to verify email. After they verify their email they go right to my thank you page with my free downloads which I set up through my autoresponder.

So.... My Squeeze Page and Thank you page are working fine.

Where my problem is- I don't know how to redirect them to my 'check your email' page after they have submitted their information in the form on my index.htm (squeeze) page. I don't know how to link them- I do not want to send them directly to my thank you page!

Well this makes sense in my head, hopefully it makes sense to you I'm getting frustrated - Please help.

Thanks a bunch for your time.

Thanks for the response.

I'm using an autoresponder that came with my hosting company, an yes I can put in the URL for the page that I want the autoresponder to redirect my customers to after they click the double opt-in link in their email. Then I go copy the autoresponders script copy/paste it into my HTML.

Whats crazy is that I can type in my web browser www.mydomain.com/thankyou.htm and my thank you page will load. However, when I send myself a test email from my autoresponder I click the link and I get a 404 Not Found Error.

I'm ok with this stuff when it comes to building a page and codes, but when it comes to linking my pages and all this good stuff- I'm lost.

Squeeze page

Verify Your Email Page

Your Email Is Confirmed Page with link to sales letter/download link

====

In Aweber, set you'd set up your web form with these parameters:

redirect: http :// yourwebsite com/verificationpagename.php

meta_redirect_onlist: http :// yourwebsite com/confirmationpagename.php

Jump on the list in my sig to see how it works. You can unsub right away, I won't get my feelings hurt : )

Hope this helps,

Brian
