I need someone to design me a better logo and some banners for my site . I won't pay any money (kinda short on money right now), but I can give a PERMANENT DO-FOLLOW backlink to your site , placed in my footer.tpl in my template. And my site is a directory.. so that link will be generated a LOT of times.

So here it is my site : Basic Directory - Get More Backlinks

What I want ?

1) LOGO - A better logo for my directory. The logo should be 300x60 , or maximum 400x60 . That 60 is a must. What it should include ? "Basic Directory" text, and a picture of a globe, earth map or something related. Use your imagination.

2) Some BANNERS

Dimensions :
- 468 x 60
- 125 x 125
- 88 x 31

Those banners should include as my logo , a pic of a globe, earth map or smth .. "Basic Directory" text and a additional text like : "Include your websites in this seo friendly directory" . Use your imagination.

3) A better favicon that I have now. I hate this one I have right now.


If are more than 1 designer, I will choose those I like most, not the first who came. This small contest will be over within 1 week.

I need the background of the logo (not the banners) to be invisible, because it will brake my header design template if it will be white for example.

You can download all the files here. Theres another zipped file inside this one that has the ico file for the favicon along with an animated version and directions in case you don't know how to get it up.

Also, to get the mirror to fade I had to make the bottom of the logo white, but it will work perfect for your page as the bg is white where the bottom of the logo goes

now the images in your post appear, and I also managed to download the zip also.
The most impressed I was but the icon, great , I love it.
The banners works also, as I don't look for sophisticated ones.

As for the logo, I'll have to test it directly on my website,to see if fit the header template, and I am not be able to do this until tomorrow.

Sorry it wasn't working. The site must not have propogated fully yet as I buy from GoDaddy and host with Hostgator. It should be finished now. And if something doesn't fit, let me know and I can adjust it.

This "small contest" is over.

I've decided to choose DeanClick's work. He provided on private messages some excellent banners and a nice logo (in fact several models), which you may seen live now on my directory.

@Matthew Keith - You can also provide me a link, I want to give you a Permanent Feature Link in my website, so give me on PM a link, title, description of your site. If you're site is already in my directory, tell me so I can "promote" that site. I think I am gonna use your favicon, you're the only one who designed a favicon.
