Free and 'ugly' Wordpress theme but it's great for Amazon store site!
Recently i bought some premium WP themes,they are great for blogging,business portfolio,landing page etc.But i can't find what i'm looking for when it comes to create Amazon store site.I tried some paid WP review themes but i don't like how it looks(and functionallity).
Until this day i register a new domain and when finish instal WP i take time to look at free,ugly and well known default WP themes : Twenty Eleven 1.3
I just realized that this theme has a good basic element for WP themes.And give us 'space' to do anything we want for this.Then i decided to not instal my paid WP themes and try to play around with it.Here it goes after i'm doing some 'plastic surgery' for this theme to create my new Amazon store :

i love how it looks...it's clean,fancy,attractive and elegant.Has good navigation also.It work well with George's Associate Goliath plugin and some other plugin as well.So i think this theme has good compatibility.I don't think this theme can do this before lol!
For anyone who is expert about WP themes i think this is not new and can do much better to make this theme more gorgeous.But for anyone who new about WP or anyone who still looking for option to create Amazon store site maybe this one is worth to try.All of us knew this theme before but maybe just like me underestimate about this theme,ignore it and try to looking some paid WP themes to build Amazon store site.
For anyone who want to try to create Amazon store site with this theme,this is what i did:
-Upload custome background (related to your niche)
-Upload custom header and check "No" to Display text.
-Change the default font on Stylesheet (style.css) and replace with "OCR A Extended" or any other fonts you like.
-Put Amazon widget code on the bottom of header.php and then centering the widget with code: <p align="center">Amazon widget code here</p>
-Put opt-in widget etc on sidebar
-Instal any of Amazon associate plugin you have and start to generate content
-Done
Maybe this theme is not adsense ready but i think it's easy to put adsense code on theme editor and widget sidebar.Just like put Amazon widget code on this theme.I'll do it later to put my adsense code after my Amazon product reviews is ready for this site.
Again this is nothing new for WP's expert but i think this will be useful for anyone who new on WP and still looking for WP themes to build Amazon store site.And it's free
I think i'll go with this one and take another time to see what can i do more with this theme.
Well..honestly i want to make this site as a gift for my girlfriend's birthday.I think she'll love it but hope she don't know that i build this with free WP theme lol!
