WP thesis theme- pain in the @$$

Hi everyone,

So I pick up the mighty thesis theme for my brand new site.
I have heard it is the be all end all for marketers.....YUCK!:confused:

I just want to set up a simple site for my upcoming WSO.

I admit to being tech challenged, BUT JEEZ!

Anyone have a suggestion for a clean theme that is easy to set up?

    I prefer the Genesis framework myself. Easier to use (IMHO) than Thesis.

    You could try customizing the Twenty Ten or Twenty Eleven themes that come already installed with Wordpress.

    Thesis is great because you can easily turn on and off features on your theme, without needing to edit each file. But getting the look you desire will be a problem without css knowledge.

    Hi Rob are you familiar with the catalyst theme ? if not here is a demo Catalyst Theme Demo Framework Theme Seo Theme there is a admin and pass demo there so you can do a test drive, keep in mind that maybe is people inside testing as well.

    Take a look at The Morning After theme. Very simple, and I have had great results with it.

    Themeforest and Woothemes are decent premium theme sources.

    Free themes? I used to utilize those, but found that they really lagged behind quality premium themes in terms of features and underlying code. Not to mention that many get abandoned because the author isn't making money off of them.

    If it is a personal website, that is okay though I imagine.

    What exactly are you having trouble with? I started building my very first site ever with it recently and have just been researching each thing I'd like to do. Kinda slow going but hasnt been to bad. I'll help if I can..

    Have you checked some Youtube videos with tutorials? Thesis is REALLY simple to work with.

    what are you having trouble with? Thesis is pretty easy to use, we use it with all our websites... as mentioned there are TONS of youtube tutorials on it.
