I'm wondering If someone can help me with this.

I'm in the process of creating a website (using wordpress) and I've got particular footer pages such Terms and conditions, privacy policy etc, I don't want to be picked up by the search engines when I ping my website.

How do I hide these pages? I hope my question makes sense

    Kind of... (makes sense).

    There are no "footer pages" in WP.
    There are posts and Pages... together with a few other type of entries (all stored in the database).

    You can display links to your Pages anywhere on your WP site if you chose to. Or you can NOT link to those Pages.
    That's for starters.

    Next, what is and what is NOT indexed by search engines should be defined by your robots.txt file. <-- search, read, learn and you will know what to do....

    Use "WordPress SEO" plugin and set your posts to no-index.

      The other way around: NEVER use a plugin when it can be easily done by editing a few lines!

      My friend, you should learn a bit more about WP before giving advice...
