Topic/Niche suggestions for design portfolio?
Hi. I'm trying to build a portfolio of website designs that I can show to possible offline clients. I'm going to build them using the Catalyst Theme for WordPress, so basically I'll be building different designs using Catalyst as my base framework since its very flexible.
However, I'm unable to think of good niches/topics to base my designs on. I mostly do personal blogs and non-IM related designs so they're not good examples to business owners. So I was wondering if you guys can suggest general or specific topics (but not too specific that will give away your secret niches) that I can make a design for and after I come up with possible designs, I can post a link to them so you can give your critiques and suggestions for improvement?
