I would like to get some help here, I have a wordpress site with theme revolution blue code 3.0 and it's running on WP 2.7 I bought my own header/footer graphics and haven't been able to replace them, some say that revolution blue code is not a graphics but a background color, but don't know how to change them, please point me to the right direction.

Hi Mylelo I'm not familiar with this theme, is it the one you're using at Andres Luna? That site uses a background color, no header graphic. Most WordPress themes will have a header.php file that contains the header content. All you need to do to add your graphic is to upload it to your server and place an IMG tag in the header pointing to it. You can use your themes CSS file to position the graphic within your header. If you need assistance with this please let me know. Aloha Bill |

Generally, the header can be changed whether it's a background color or a graphic. (If it's a background color, maybe you can fill the entire area with a graphic.) The background color is probably controlled in the style.css file. The size of the header -- graphic + background -- may also be described there. You can access that in WordPress 2.7+ in Appearance > Editor. (You'll probably look for CSS code that is noted around the word "header".) The graphic should show up if you upload it to the folder with the current header graphic. (Overwrite the existing graphic. Be sure you're using the same image name, too.) That should be in your Revolution folder on your server (wp-content > themes > Revolution). The folder is probably called something like "images" or it might be a folder inside the images folder. This may involve trial-and-error experiments, but it shouldn't take too long. But... if you purchased Revolution, your fees usually include support. So, you should be able to get help from the Revolution theme support staff. |

From my experience, the Revolution themes all use graphics in the headers at least. Is there a "bg" image file (or something with bg in the name) in the theme folder (this file will be inside an "images" folder)? |
