this is a cool concept. other than the categorizing i really dont see any other issues.
you might want to integrate html5 into the layout. other than that the scripting should be encrypted for this site. this willmake it harder for hackers to screw with your site.

How many hits are you getting daily? Coz i dont think it would be a large number. Although the idea is good, yet the website hardly contains any content. There are snippets of code and thats it! You need to populate it a lot more than this. Sorry for the negative comment in adavnce.

I found the page very uninteresting as soon as it came up. I think, for one, you need a larger banner at top with a much better logo. And, I have no idea what the site is about but maybe because it's geared to those with technical interests. If what you are offering can be of use to a "novice" then you need to make that very clear and tell me "in simple wording" why I need to use your site.

Your design is beautiful but I'm little confused about the color you use.
I think it will be more beautiful, if you change those color into some cool.
It's my opinion from my heart.

The color changes to gray each time you click on a link but turns back to white. So something is off with your background colors. Not only is it changing to gray and back but the site shifts a little and then back again. I agree that the site is a bit confusing to undertand what it is. Shift the code boxes downwards and put a header in that area explaining more what it is. Use a graphical picture that tells an intant story along with the text.

Your site looks how it should for a programming site I think. Here are a few points of improvements in my opinion:
    - Use the same color schemes, you now have orange, blue, green for the blocks and attributes while the header contains black, white, grey and green. I think that you should edit it to 1 part instead of different parts. (Hope I'm not too vague.)
    - The text "SourceCodeDirect" looks like a clicked url, while it's not, maybe change the color a little bit.
    - The text at submit code and pages like that could be designed with the same color schemes and could edited like it's not so default, but that's your own choice of course. (Everything is.)
    - The "download now" buttons are other arrows than your logo.
    - The page .../VB.NET.html has a previous button, to the same url.
    - The page .../VB.NET%20Page%202.html has a next button to an unknown url.
    - The content holder (white block) has a shadow just like the other blocks (the orange, blue and green one), but it has no transparency, look at the right side - you'll notice it.

Well just some thoughts that could help you, some might be off-topic (not design related), but it's just to help you.

hey man, thanks for the post. but you are missing the e in Me... you have a y. But anyway... I love the site and the education is wicked... Is the Microsoft WebMatrix any good? Is Visual Basic like it? What's the difference? I'm new to the whole process and I don't want to waste time on useless tools... Where do I start as a newbie to site building.?
Can you make a suggestion ?
    Thank you.

Why so narrow? It's the year 2012, people don't use 800x600 resolutions anymore. Don't be afraid to use a min. width of 960px

To tell the truth the site didn't catch my eyes at all. It looks like more of a 97's site. You have a rich content but the presentation is not that much delicate. If its your first approach then its a grate work. Hope to see better work from you.
