    I bet its your host.

Try and run Microsoft Word 2010 on a Pentium 3... you get the idea. Cheap hosts are often overcrowded and have outdated equipment.

    What host are you with?

It can be your host but as you have mentioned that you have tried on other hosts too so it can be due to following reasons.
There are too many plugins that you have installed in your WP that takes time to load. For example, I have 4 plugins, SEO plugin, social media plugin, feature image plugin, auto keyword plugin. So whenever the post load, these load too so it takes time.
Sometimes it is your cache that is messing it up but it should not problem you very often.

  • i dont think it's your host but you can test the responce time from your host ip to ban this out.

It could be database configuration related. Have you checked your slow query logs?

Yeah - first thing to do is to clear your ping list of all entries except rpc.pingomatic.com. WordPress waits for the response when it pings an address in the ping list. If the list is too long, or an entry on the list is unresponsive, you'll see the behavior you're describing.

If that isn't the problem, I'll guarantee you that the issue is in a plugin or your theme - it's very likely NOT a problem with your hosting account. Deactivate all of your plugins and revert to the TwentyTen or TwentyEleven theme. If your publish times improve, you'll have a place to start troubleshooting.

I disagree. It very likely IS a problem with your hosting account.

    thanks for all the responses,
the only time that it is slow is when you are dealing with the pages or posts

maybe its your hosting, or you can reinstall your wardpress if there is any bug when you installing it.

sometimes unreliable connection can cause bug on data transferring progress

Hello! If you have no hosting problems, maybe it's because your dashboard has too much plugins. or if not, it maybe your browser that causes the problem.

Didn't you all read the entire thread? Right before your posts, the OP said the issue was caused by a plugin and has since been resolved....
