    Thank you everyone for the feedback! It's very encouraging that you all think it's well done. I'm a little concerned about getting everything right for all the search engines out there since SEO is really a huge time sink. For instance, right now google doesn't use my META DESCRIPTION tag in search results.




    ericbryant: Bootstrap is a really wonderful tool. It is basically a CSS style sheet and some jquery plugins put into a lovely package that you just upload to your web server and start using. It is not that bad if you already have a little understanding of how to use CSS, the jquery isn't even needed. There is also some great documentation for twitter bootstrap and also builtwithbootstrap dot com shows some examples that you can take inspiration from.

    The site looks good, but it is too "boxy" in my opinion. I would lay it out differently, less boxes more content.

    I think it's rather bland looking. Simple in design, yes. But not very exciting. Nothing to really catch the eye except the big word "GAUSS" which made me keep thinking of the word "gas". But this is just one person's opinion.

    The way it's laid out I didn't know what to read first. Think of the first thing you want the viewer to know about what your offering and highlight that in some way. And instead of the faded black and white graphics I think some that are a bit more colorful would be better. And maybe design an eye catching banner across the top that contains the logo and name of the company.

    Looks good. Specially your logo looks a bit fresh and unique. But you could work more on your theme if you want to make it public attraction. Though features are more important than themes.
