images not appearing on index.html

Greetings,

I am trying to upload an index.html to hostgator. I install everything throught file manager, but when the I go to the html editor the images don't appear.

Does anyone know what could be wrong? something in code, etc.... When I open index.html on computer everything is there

    What directory are you trying to put it in? Your website code goes in public_html.

    If it is public_html, check your html if your image code is correct.

    hmm try to check on the extension file of your image to see if the file name of the image that you are trying to show has a correct path there might be some conflict there that is why it is not showing

    Check the path to your image files, sometimes if you use a local editor, it hardcodes your local image paths. If you can post the url, we can give you a better solution. Right now we are all guessing.
