I have an RSS feed that suits my situation perfectly, however, I only want certain pieces of the feed. Is there a way to produce an RSS feed on my website with only the specific RSS topicsw that I need? For example, if it were a health related RSS feed and I only wanted the ones that had the words "Stop smoking" to be displayed on my website. Thank you, Allen Graves |

Am I correct in assuming that you want to take an RSS feed (from another site) and display it on your site? If so, then if you want to display only selected items from the feed onto your site, then I think the only way would be to have some code that parsed the feed and extracted the items you wanted. This would have to happen every time a new feed was requested. I think CARP might be able to do this (worth checking out). Find more about it at : http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/ Its one of the best out there.. Hope this helps Bruce |
