Hey Guys, Right now I'm using Eric Giguere's PLR SiteBuilder. Great program, but the problem is I want to add the AdSense Cloaker to the sites that are created, and I want to trade out the AdSense for a company that is much more lucrative, such as AdBrite or Etology. In fact, I would love to create a seperate etology ad block for each article page and charge cheap fixed rates for each adspace, which you can do with etology from what I understand. Also, I tried installing the Ad Cloaker, but something didn't take. Any ideas? Chesh |

Hey, you should've emailed me! It's pretty easy to do what you want. I'll post some instructions later tonight when I'm at a real computer, not on my BlackBerry. Eric |

So there are different ways to do what you want. You can turn off all AdSense ads by editing the ss-overrides.php file in your input folder and adding the line: $ss_noads = true; somewhere near the top. Alternatively, inside PLRSiteBuilder you can turn off the ads in the header and footer from the page layout tab. But to turn off all ads right now you have to do what I did above... in theory setting the publisher ID to an empty string in the AdSense tab should do the same thing, but I just noticed that it doesn't turn off everything, which is a bug I need to fix. You can then make further changes to various .php files to insert whatever ad systems you want. Tell me what you want to do exactly and I can help. Eric |

| Sweet! Well, a number of things. I'm working on various kinds of websites, and a lot of them are going to be frontended with your PLR Site Builder sites. I really love working with it and the results it produces! For instance, I'm going to eventually be using them to create membership sites, where the main page uses the sales page option to sell the membership, and the articles act as an SEO and Article Marketing net to capture traffic. That's one way to use it. I'm also going to use them as straight out, monetized-with-ads content sites. Either way, two things have cropped up. While I like the way the ad blocks are displayed on the article pages and so on, I've noticed that AdSense isn't particularly the most lucrative venue for advertising, and have since discovered the wonders of AdBrite, Etology, and Neverblue. Second, I'm working on Dave Kelley's MSN Loophole, and he pointed out in one of his newsletters that, apart from Google, and especially in regards they're darling AdSense, most of the Search Engines aren't frightfully friendly towards pages that have AdSense on them (or other related adblocks) and tend to denigrate the ranking of said page because of it. Well, Dave suggested a remedy in the form of a script called AdSense Cloaker (self-titled URL). Basically, when the bots come calling, the script identifies them thru their IP address, and cloaks the adblocks. When a regular person comes calling, it shows the ads. Rather clever, and it doesn't violate any terms of use, cuz you are not actually altering the ad code itself. The ads either show or they don't. So, here's the idea (specifically): I want to crank out a ton of PLRSB sites, all with cloaking, and all with the more lucrative offers, ideally building to Etology adblocks, where advertisers can rent the space for a monthly fee. They get to own a square inch of prime VRE for a lot less than it would cost in monthly PPC, and I get to scale out my profits. And when the bots come calling, the ads get cloaked so I can maintain my indexing and ranking. Then, when this formula is perfected, I'll use it to front end my membership sites with an SEO friendly traffic funnel. Sound good? BTW, I'm new to web design. Just thought I'd mention it. ![]() Chesh |
